Sales & Marketing Manager

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities while maintaining current business portfolio to generate sales revenue, profitability and market share.
  • Build, grow and maintain good relationships with customers and business partners; and retain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
  • Oversee customer account management that includes customer queries, quotation enquiries, identify upcoming business opportunities, negotiate on contract and etc.
  • Good understanding of customer requirements coupled and industry/technology trends. Able to anticipate customer needs and also provide inputs/feedbacks to internal team (R&D and factories) to ensure internal capabilities readiness.
  • Work with a cross functional team of people from R&D team, manufacturing team and material sourcing & purchasing team to deliver business proposal, new product platform and solutions that meet the customers’ business needs
  • Coordinate with cross functional project development team to manage customers’ projects to ensure the timely and successful delivery of the products
  • Provides leadership, management, coaching and training to sales team based in Hong Kong.
  • Develops sales operations management and business development capabilities, and build a cohesive and high performance team

Requirements

  • Degree holder in any disciplines, candidate in Engineering discipline is preferrable
  • Minimum 8 years sales and marketing experience with at least 3 years at managerial level.  Experience in manufacturing industry with regional experience including Europe or US markets is preferred
  • A business-driven person with strong business and commercial sense; and proven track record of business development and drive profitable business growth
  • Familiar with the audio products and or electronics consumer products industry
  • Must be a strong leader to manage team members and motivate others to deliver positive results
  • Able to work independently, resourceful, pro-actively look for alternatives and opportunities, can work under pressure able to complete projects with tight schedule 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with customer-oriented and commercial mindset
  • Excellent command in written and spoken English, able to communicate in Cantonese / Putonghua is definite an advantage
  • Frequent travel and work in PRC and Occasionally business travel is required
